Creamy and rich fatty ramen broth needs at least 6 hours to cook in a high heat to get bone marrow out from the bones. But what do we do if we only have 3 hours to cook ramen, gyoza, and dessert? From my ramen experience, you’ll learn that creamy, rich, spicy, flavorful ramen made within two hours of cooking includes chashu, ramen eggs, lots of gyoza, and black sesame ice cream. This recipe is made for home cooking purposes, Absolutely all natural. We will cook it all from the beginning within the class timeframe. Ramen noodles are store-bought as well as gyoza wrappers. While we are making broth, we will be preparing tare, the seasoning sauce, and chashu, and ramen eggs. The goal for this class is to grasp that ramen consists of three important ingredients: flavorful stock, tare, and fat. After taking this class, I hope guests are able to make their own style of ramen, as each ramen shop has its own creative broth, choices of flavors, and simple but beautiful toppings. Good home cooks always make their own ramen at home in Japan. And I grew up with my home-cooked ramen that my dad has been making for many years.
Sorry, this class cannot be a combination of vegetarian ramen. I have a vegetarian ramen experience as well ;-)
