•RAMEN - in soy sauce flavored soup that is most typical for both restaurants and homemade ramen.

•Ramen Toppings - Charshu pork, Marinated boiled eggs, Soybean sprouts, Nori, Green onions that are all essential for basic and traditional ramen.

•Gyoza
Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling made by wrapping meat, cabbage, leek, etc. in a skin made of thin flour.
I use sesame oil for a hidden taste for dumplings!

    Ramen

    Ramen is a noodle soup dish and perhaps one of the most popular Japanese dishes. There are many flavours of ramen, such as Shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, Miso ramen, Tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen and so on. Common toppings are Chashu (braised pork), Negi (green onion) and Nori (dried seaweed).

  • Gyoza

    Gyoza

    Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

Cooking Class Information

In this class you will learn how to cook basic homemade Ramen and Gyoza.
I would like to give you my secret recipe and some tips for authentic and basic ramen and gyoza that can be made at home. You will be able to recreate after you get back home.

We don’t make noodles and gyoza wrappers but use fresh noodles as we normally do at home in Japan.

We will start with making richly flavored broth soup and really tasty charshu pork from scratch.

Then, cut the vegetables and meat for fillings of gyoza and wrap those ingredients with the gyoza wrappers.
Finally we fry them with a pan.
You can learn how to wrap ingredients with the wrappers and form the gyoza properly.
Gyoza wrappers are crispy while the vegetables and meat inside the Gyoza are juicy.

Plus, my recipe is designed to be completed all of the instructions in this class time. I’m sure you can recreate after you get back home.
