Takoyaki is very cute, small battered balls containing octopus. When you visit Osaka, you can see Takoyaki shops and people wandering the streets while eating it.
Japanese fried chicken, karaage is made by marinating bite-size pieces of chicken in sake, soy sauce, ginger and garlic before coating them generously with potato starch. When fried, the starch turns into an ultra crispy shell encasing a flavorful juicy bite of chicken. Absolutely great with beer.
Using a Takoyaki machine, bake the Takoyaki by yourself while spinning it. Contents are octopus, cheese, kimchi, favorite things.
Deep-fried chicken pickles the bird in a sauce and fry it crisply.
