Takoyaki Lunch
Takoyaki is very cute, small battered balls containing octopus. When you visit Osaka, you can see Takoyaki shops and people wandering the streets while eating it.
We can make Takoyaki at home!! If you don’t like octopus, you can try making takoyaki with different ingredients such as chicken or squid. Cheese matches well, too!
It’s kind of easy to make. First, we mix Takoyaki flour, water, and eggs. Then we put them on Takoyaki plate and cook!! It’s fun to make them round!!
You can put okonomiyaki sauce and mayo. Also I like to dip them into Dashi soup!! I’ll teach you how to make and eat good!!!!

Hi I’m Aki grandma! And my daughter Tucasa will help me cooking with you. She speaks fluent English. We are born in Osaka and grew up here. So we mainly make Osakan soul food, Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki! We can make any Japanese food if requested.
Our house is just one stop away from Osakajo castle park! So you can enjoy cooking and go to see Osakajo castle after meals! You can also walk there. We can show you the way there.
