Shoyu Ramen
Ramen is a popular noodle dish in Japan.
It is topped with Charshu (Braised Pork) and Aji-tama (Soft boiled egg marinated in sauce)
Fried Pork Gyoza
This dish is a dumpling with a filling made with minced pork, chinese chives, cabbage and green onions.
In this class, you will learn how to make homestyle ramen from scratch.
First, you will learn how to make ramen soup stock from chicken. While the stock is cooking, you will be making Charshu (Braised Pork) and Aji-tama (Soft boiled egg marinated in sauce) to use as a topping for the ramen.
What makes this dish so easy to make is that we will use the same sauce you have cooked the pork in for the Ramen soup and Aji-tama.
While the pork is being cooked, you will learn how to make the fried pork gyoza.
At the end of the class, you will assemble your own ramen and taste it with the gyoza.
We will be using store-bought ramen noodles and gyoza skins.
The minimum number of participants for this class is two.
