・Chakabuki :Tea fight
Like wine tasting, Chakabuki is the tasting game of several kinds of Japanese tea.
Chakabuki was introduced from Chine during the Kamakura era about 800 years ago, and became very popular in the period of North and South Dynasties as an entertainment of tea tasting.
In Japan, Kyoto was the popular region to play Chakabuki and it was an amusement for upper class.
How to play
First, The tea-master introduce the 3~4 different kinds of green tea, Sen-cha, Gyokuro, Yanagi-cha, Genmai-cha, and participants taste the different color, flavor, aroma of the teas.
After the tea tasting, then the master give the same teas once again randomly without disclosing the name of tea.
The participants have to guess the correct name of the tea, depending on their memories of the tea tasting.
