    Udon (うどん) is a type of thick wheat flour noodle. It is similar to Italian pasta, but much thicker. It has been eaten all over Japan as an easy-to-eat popular meal, and a substitute meal for rice dishes. Udon is often served hot as a noodle soup in its simplest form, as "kake udon", in a mildly flavoured broth called kakejiru, which is made of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. The flavor of broth and topping vary from region to region.

Cooking Class Information

Start by mixing the flour and salt water for udon only.
The ratio is very important, but it's simple so please remember and return.
After that, we perform the stepping, which is a unique process of udon, and train the udon dough. It is fun to step on the music.
Next, extend the udon noodles in the way you like. It's like pizza but it's not like pizza.
When you're done, cut the noodles cool like a craftsman with a special “noodle cutting knife”.
After boiling the udon in a special cauldron, wash the noodles well with water and tighten. By tightening, the texture of the noodles becomes very good.
