Oyako means parent with child... we will be making famous Chicken and egg on bedded rice dish.
It is quickly made so you will be surprised by it.
*Pickles
It's very common to have some pickles with food in Japan so let's make something simple but tasty.
*Miso soup
Using easy to get hold of pack of dry fish stock and miso paste, we will make a nice miso soup to complete the class.
First of all, we will get ready for our rice in a pot. I don't have a rice cooker so I can teach you how to make rice properly step by step.
Then we move onto making some pickles with cucumber, ginger and carrots.
Next is Miso soup tern, We will slice leek and potato in small cubes to cook them quickly and nicely.
We also thinly slice onions and cut chicken in cubes for Oyako don.
