Mieko | Cooking Class Host in Fukui

- "Hi! I am Mieko KOTAKE living in Fukui Pref. north next to Kyoto Pref. I run English school and instruct English for kids and yougsters, also am in charge of a vice president of local UNESCO association. So I had lots of chances to visit foreign countries to join some conference , yet to see around local farmers' market , to join cookery lessons there , learn the local cuisine , and absorb diffrent culture thr cuisine. Getting to learn something different and talk to the local people made me fantastic. fantastic That's why I have been so interested in food , cooking and talking to the people abroad. Fukui city is local and rural, but has lots of fresh product because of good water. If you want , I could introduce western dishes , Japanese ones like tempura as well.
