- "Hello! I’m Michiyo, living in the historic city of Omihachiman in Shiga Prefecture, famous for its Edo-period streets and scenic waterways. I spent 36 years in Germany as an interpreter, meeting people from many countries and experiencing diverse cultures. Cooking has long been my passion, and I have studied Japanese cuisine in depth. In my kitchen, I offer authentic Japanese home-cooking experiences. Together, we can prepare and enjoy seasonal dishes, sushi, and traditional simmered dishes, while sharing stories about Japanese food and culture. English and German are welcome, and I look forward to meeting guests from around the world to enjoy delicious food, conversation, and a warm, cultural exchange in the heart of Omihachiman!"
