Maccha tea is served with the sweets for tasting. Experience whisking the powdered maccha with the wooden tea whisk.
In this special events, you are going to make three shapes of seasonal Japanese confrectionary representing Autumn with local Japanese students (English speakers / learners).
You can select AM class (10am to noon) or PM class (1pm to 3pm). After or before the class, it may be good idea to take a walk in the Shinjuku Gyoen park.
The dough (white bean paste + rice powder + sugar) is prepared for your easy start. You wrap your choice of anko (sweet bean paste) with the dough to make the "base".
Then, with the help of professional Japanese Confectionary master, you transform these bases to express Japanese autumn.
