First, Sae looked very charming in her purple kimono. It's really hard to get the wagashi shapes right, but she was super patient with us and they all turned out fine. Also, the green tea that she served was such a good one, even my friend who isn't a big fan of matcha liked it. Will definitely r...

This was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Japan. I even bought a tamagoyaki pan that afternoon so I can cook them at home. :-) I know you'll get the timing down for the rice, but we never would have guessed we were your first guests. You were very prepared! Thank you Sawa!

Toko was amazing! Wonderful host who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. She was very patient in teaching us and answered many questions we had. She went beyond just teaching us how to make artistic sushi, she even explained on the desert she made and told her where we could get the ingredients. Highly recommend her class to anyone coming to Osaka.

  • GYOZA -JAPANESE DUMPLINGS FROM SCRATCH

    Cooking class in Suita, Osaka

Our time with Naomi was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Naomi was very welcoming and informative. She speaks excellent English and we had no trouble communicating with her. We would absolutely recommend this class, not only do you learn how to cook a fabulous traditional meal but you get completely immersed in local culture. You get a glimpse into a Japanese home and kitchen, you will use traditional Japanese methods and tools, there is no better way to see how the locals live and cook. We had a blast with Naomi, she was fun, friendly, and bubbly, she was informative about Osaka, local sights/attractions, and gave us recommendations for other things to do while in town. Thank you Naomi for a lifetime memory. Everyone should take this class!!!
