Ramen & Gyoza(making skin), Japanese sweets and Matcha (halal acceptable)
In this lesson, we will make ramen and gyoza together. Gyoza is one of the most popular dishes in Japan. In Japan, gyoza is popular when fried in a frying pan. On days off, families make gyoza from scratch, wrap them up, and eat them together. In this lesson, we will make gyoza wrappers. Finely chop the vegetables, mix them with the meat, and make the filling. Wrap the filling in the wrapper, fry it in a frying pan until it's crispy, and eat it. It's fun.
As for the Ramen I don't think I need to explain what kind of dish it is, but in this class, you will learn how to make the soup, what toppings to put on top, and how to boil the noodles. It would be great if you could make ramen and gyoza even after you return to your country.
Hello, I’m Atsuko Furuya.
I’ve been teaching Japanese language to foreign students for over 20years.
Also I raised up 3 children, so I cook everyday and I like cooking.
Our house is very old type of Japanese house which you can call it “Kominka”.
I want to introduce Japanese cooking and also want you to see the house too.
Our house is 3 stations away from Kansai airport. So, why don’t you stop by on the way back to your country or use our place to start your journey in Japan.
Looking forward to sharing happy cooking time with you.

★★★★★Atsuko-san was a great host from start to finish and talking to her was delightful. We had a great time cooking tasty food and even had a bit left over as a snack for the road. Aside from the cooking lesson she also showed us the old mansion she lives in with her family and we had a small tea ceremony. After everything was over she even drove us to a department store next to the airport since we sadly had to leave Japan that day. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
