My sister and I had a wonderful time with Eiko. She was very sweet, generous, and explained how to do the tea ceremony carefully and kindly. She came to meet us at the train station, invited us into her home, let us practice the tea ceremony before actually undertaking it, and helped us try on lovely kimonos. Our time was very much worth it, especially because of Eiko’s warmth and generosity. I highly recommend this experience to others visiting Japan!

Me and my three friends had a fantastic time during Eiko’s wonderful tea ceremony. Firstly she met us at the station with a beautiful smile and walked with us to her shop where the ceremony is conducted in a cosy space. She so generously spoke English to us as we have no Japanese, and her effort was much appreciated, we understood her well. The tea ceremony was a wonderful experience for us; we all agree it is the best thing we have done in our 5 week trip around Japan. Eiko is a lovely, kind teacher whose method was very practical and enjoyable! The sweets we ate during the ceremony were the best we have had in Japan, and we dressed in Eiko’s beautiful kimono. Eiko is masterful with her wrapping of the robe and helping you wear it, we loved that part so much. Eiko is one of the kindest people we have met in Japan and she was so generous with her time, skills, and gifts. We really felt as though we were with a friend. Thank you Eiko, we hope to see you again one day and can’t encourage other visitors to Osaka enough to visit Eiko and enjoy the traditions of Japan.

Awesome!! First I was a bit sceptical about the whole thing as I did not receive the address it was quite far from the Osaka center and the reviews were too positive. How wrong I was!, They are very very true and Eiko and the whole tea ceremony experience was just amazing. She is such a good teacher very patient helping also with my Japanese. SO. SO. SO EXTREMELY WARM HEARTED, KIND AND LOVELY Person that I was enchanted right away. Without Eiko and the whole tea ceremony my Japanese experience would have never been complete.
