Udon
Mix flour, salt and water to make udon. you make it step by step. Please also deep-fry the seasonal vegetable tempura.
Japanese sweets
You will roll the bean paste into balls and make your own Japanese sweets.
Tea ceremony
A casual tea ceremony demonstration will follow the meal. After that, you will be able to make matcha yourself.
Please take OsakaMetro Midou line to Momoyamadai station. It takes 30 mins from Nanba station. In front of south ticket gate at Momoyamadai station. Exit the south ticket gate to the right and walk straight. I'll be waiting at the top of the stairs 15mins before the starting time
You can choose drink from either Japanese tea, water or homemade juice! I will explain you about what we are going to make according to my recipe. I will give you my recipe as a gift!

It was so much fun and Sensei Keiko also treated us to a traditional tea ceremony and a welcome drink made from her very own marinated Japanese lime! Had such a lovely, fun exchange of cultures and food over a short afternoon! One of the most memorable times in Osaka! Highly recommended if you have a chance to learn from her and visit her personal kitchen!

She picked us up from the train station in her BMW, drove us to her lovely home and she stepped us through the making of Udon noodles from scratch, dango (Japanese sweet) and tempura vegetables. She served our Udon noodle soup along with homemade lime juice and Japanese tea on a beautiful place setting. After we ate our home cooked meal she took us through an intimate tea ceremony.
