    Tempura (天ぷら) is a classical Portuguese dish brought to and popularized by Japan, consisting of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried. Tempura is a typical home-style cooking in Japan. It is often referred to as a representative dish to Japan. Although there are various theories, it is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu, the general of the Edo period, liked tempura so much that he allegedly died from eating too much.

  • Udon


    Udon (うどん) is a type of thick wheat flour noodle. It is similar to Italian pasta, but much thicker. It has been eaten all over Japan as an easy-to-eat popular meal, and a substitute meal for rice dishes. Udon is often served hot as a noodle soup in its simplest form, as "kake udon", in a mildly flavoured broth called kakejiru, which is made of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. The flavor of broth and topping vary from region to region.

  • Sake


    Japanese popular alcoholic drink must be Sake, or called Nihonshu, made from fermented rice. The foundation of good sake is quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. Premium sake differentiates itself in quality of ingredients and production process, so that flavors ranges light and crisp to richer, fruity notes.

  • Green Tea

    Green Tea

    The astringent constituent in Japanese tea is a type of polyphenol called catechin. Japan has done a great deal with the humble tea leaf. For example some benefits of the catechin in the tea leaf can lower cholesterol in some cases. Roasted over charcoal at a high temperature and grown under shade for at least 20 days are one of the examples. The most popular Japanese tea might be ryokucha. Depending on the timing of picking the leaves, the grade, the price can be noticeably different.

In this class, you actually make udon and eat. you can try making it from powder. You can also make tempura.
This class takes place in my kitchen and dining room so you can relax and enjoy cooking with homelike atmosphere. Get a lot of tips so that you can recreate after getting back home. Enjoy the most delicious udon ever!

Therefore, please report willingly if you want to arrange it with Japanese food. Furthermore, I offer the menu which is near to preference. I want to eat this and this at the same time, but am all right. I guide you. I want to enjoy it at the same time while conveying good Japanese culture by interchanging with the person of various countries while mentioning cultures. If we can meet, it will be happy.
This place will arrive in approximately 40 minutes from Osaka city.
Convenient on the way to Nara.
I'll pick you up at stations and places you can easily meet in Osaka city.

Yuko was a wonderful teacher! She came to pick me up from the station, and then took my to see the beautiful temple near her home! We made Udin and tempura - and the tempura included at least 10 different types of veggies/shrimp/chicken/cheese! She also offered me tea, traditional Japanese sweets and gave me homemade dashi to go with the Udon! Cannot recommend her enough, thanks Yuko! Toda! See you in Israel!

Where do I start… talk about cooking class magic!! We spent time at Yuko’s home, my family of four, and had one of our favourite experiences from our recent holiday in Japan. It was incredible from the very start. Yuko met us at the train station, which we knew how to catch because she gave us the line we needed to be on and the station to stop at right at the beginning so we could plan our trip. Things like this is just an example of how Yuko made the experience stress free. We then walked up to the local shrine and had a good look around, said some prayers and enjoyed the local greenery. Once we got to Yuko’s home it was on. We started with snacks and a drink, and then time to cook. We made several dishes, took lots of photos and had lots of laughs. We all felt so comfortable sharing time with Yuko at her home and the end product was delicious. We feasted like Kings of old. Yuko’s instructions very gentle but very clear. Any sign of misinterpretation and she was use her translator. It was such a relaxed experience and the end results were sensational. Thank you so much Yuko. If we ever come back to Japan, booking a class with you would be at the top of my list
