3types of Sushi (Nigiri, Rolled and battle ship sushi), Miso soup or sumashi (clear type of soup), Japanese sweets and Matcha
Let's make Japanese sushi together. In this class, we will make three types of sushi.
Nigiri sushi - Make sushi with fresh fish, shrimp, and tamagoyaki (you can even make your own tamagoyaki).
Maki sushi - Layer seaweed, rice, and ingredients and roll it up.
Gunkanmaki - It looks like a battleship, so it's called gunkanmaki.
Clear soup or miso soup - Learn how to make dashi.
Sweets and matcha. Make Japanese sweets.
Hello, I’m Atsuko Furuya.
I’ve been teaching Japanese language to foreign students for over 20years.
Also I raised up 3 children, so I cook everyday and I like cooking.
Our house is very old type of Japanese house which you can call it “Kominka”.
I want to introduce Japanese cooking and also want you to see the house too.
Our house is 3 stations away from Kansai airport. So, why don’t you stop by on the way back to your country or use our place to start your journey in Japan.
Looking forward to sharing happy cooking time with you.

★★★★★The experience was absolutely amazing! Atsuko is so sweet, and taught us how to make delicious sushi, miso soup, mochi and matcha. It was great! We also got to see the nice old Japanese house, which was very beautiful! Only good words to say!
