Cooking Class Menu

Menu: 3-tiered New Year's meal, take away with recipes

[Menu] 14 dishes in total First layer:

Cream cheese topped with Bronte pistachios These are from Bronte, a famous pistachio producing region in Sicily. The aroma is completely different from the pistachios you can find in supermarkets. Celebrate the New Year with a special first snack♪

・European salami In Italy, when families gather, salami and prosciutto are eaten at the beginning of the meal♪ So we'll serve European salami♪

・Dried figs and walnuts A simple but very delicious snack. Delicious nuts sandwiched between figs that are packed with flavor♪

・Sakura shrimp and rape blossom frittata We'll make an omelet with raw cherry shrimp and rape blossoms♪ This is a dish that you'll want to eat when the cherry shrimp is a delicacy and you're celebrating♪ We'll also add Parmesan cheese to make an Italian omelet♪

Second layer:

Grilled sea bream with herbs We'll add herbs to the rice breadcrumbs to improve the aroma. Sprinkle it on the sea bream and bake it. It's a dish that makes you want to drink sparkling wine.

・Dried tomatoes Lightly dry tomatoes to make dried tomatoes. How about a little palate cleanser? (lol)

・Stir-fried Italian carciofi and green peas I'm going to make a stir-fry of Italian carciofi and green peas. I'm going to make an Italian spring contorno (side dish)♪

・Grilled honey-lemon molted shrimp Every year on New Year's Eve, I prepare shrimp at the class and make an Italian New Year's dish. It's the annual shrimp preparation, but this year I'm going to use molted shrimp, which are easy to prepare and can be eaten with the skin. I'll add honey and the delicious grilled shrimp is ready♪

Third course:

Sautéed salsiccia and lentils Salsiccia is an Italian sausage. This time, we will saute delicious domestic sausage and organic lentils. In Italy, it is said that if you eat lentils on New Year's Day, you will become rich.

Italian flag-colored pickles We will make Italian flag-colored pickles as a palate cleanser. Am I the only one who gets energized when I see the green, white, and red colors? We will make pickles that will make cooking fun. The taste is a little Italian.

Caponata Bianca Some people may imagine a type of caponata with red tomatoes. Caponata is a Sicilian dish, but in fact, there is also a white caponata called Caponata Bianca in Sicily. This is what we will make this time.

Shio-koji-marinated beef with balsamic vinegar flavor Beef becomes soft when marinated in shio-koji and then baked. The sauce is a slightly sweet balsamic vinegar flavor.

Rice flour pane Rice flour bread 4 pieces These are commercially available rice flour breads. Since it is an Italian New Year's feast, I think you will want to eat some bread as well.

We would be happy if you could enjoy it with your meal♪

Dolce - Sicilian organic blood orange jelly Sicilian blood oranges are in season in winter. Dolce makes a vitamin-colored blood orange jelly that feels like a flower medicine♪
