:My dumplings are made with ground pork and plenty of vegetables wrapped in a skin. The key is to use a secret ingredient!
*Miso Soup
:This miso soup is made with my recommended ingredients.
Miso is one of Japanese traditional fermented foods made by fermenting soybeans, rice, wheat, and other grains with salt and koji.

  • Gyoza

    Gyoza

    Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

  • Rice

    Rice

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Cooking Class Information

In this class, we will make gyoza, miso soup and rice. There're 5 steps in total.

①【Rice】Wash rice and soak in water.
②【Gyoza・Miso Soup】Cut vegetables.
③【Gyoza】Make dumplings filling_Knead ground pork and mix vegetables into it.
④【Miso Soup】Cook Miso soup.
⑤【Gyoza】Wrap the dumpling filling.
⑥【Gyoza】Fry the dumplings.
⑦【All】Present foods.
⑧【All】"Itadakimasu!!" Les't eat them!!
