We can make Udon from scratch together.
First, make dough by kneading mixed flour, water and salt. Next, roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it becomes certain thick. This is the most fun part. And then, cut it into 5mm thick. Finally, boil it until it becomes tender as you like. You can eat it in a hot dashi soup with some seasonings and spices.
We offer our guests Japanese cooking experience here in a temple lodge called Kakurinbo which has 550 years history.
