・Handmade Gyoza
Mix minced pork and chopped cabbage and wrap it in gyoza skin. Try baking it so that the gyoza wings are attached when it is done. We will teach you carefully. We can accommodate gluten-free requests. Please be sure to request gluten-free when making your reservation.

・Makizushi
Put carrot, kanpyo, cucumber, rolled omelet, and crab meat cake inside and roll it up with vinegared rice. We will also teach you the trick to rolling it well.

    Gyoza

    Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

    Rice

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

Cooking Class Information

In this class, we will make gyoza and sushi rolls together. We can also use gluten-free wrappers and seasonings for gyoza. We will carefully teach you the tricks of how to wrap the wrappers and how to cook them. Let's make them together. You can also cook them on a hot plate in our living room. Do you know what a hot plate is? Having one is very convenient and expands the range of meals you can make. We will also teach you about that.

Sushi rolls are very filling because they contain a lot of ingredients. The vinegared rice is also delicious! Let's make them together and become able to make them. Please show them to your friends and family at home.

In addition to my house, we can hold the event at a rental kitchen in Tokyo. We will find a rental kitchen as close as possible to where you are staying.
We can hold the event in Shinjuku, Akasaka, Ikebukuro, Roppongi, Azabu-Juban, Ginza, etc.

I am looking forward to having a great time with you and I hope that you will have a wonderful experience when you come to Japan on your trip.

My house is 15 minutes from Yokohama station by Sotetsu line. Please change at Futamatagawa Station to the train bound for Shonandai Station. It is one stop from Futamatagawa station.

The cooking class starts at 11:00 in the morning and lasts until about 13:30.
We will eat the food we cook together at my house.

I can teach you Japanese home cooking such as Yakitori, Gyoza,sushi rolls, yakisoba, omelette rice, dashi broth.

In particular, dashi broth can be used to make a variety of delicious Japanese dishes.
I would love to share this experience with you.
