1. Susan Neubauer, a perfectionist in learning!

Susan learned to make paneer and paratha, and together we cooked black pepper paneer using the freshly homemade paneer. Being a master of Indian cooking herself, she made the session truly wonderful!

2. Roy and Aiza were our very first guests.

Roy, an excellent chef, tried his hand at frying pakoras and truly enjoyed the experience. He was an absolute delight as a guest, and I thoroughly enjoyed both cooking for him and cooking alongside him. He learned how to prepare Chicken Biryani, Mutton Korma, and Kheer infused with saffron, as he had specifically requested to try something with saffron—a flavor he had never experienced before. In our kitchen, both the Kheer and Biryani were delicately flavored with saffron, making the experience truly special for him. He also enjoyed dishes like Chicken Tikka, Daal Tadka, Okra, and a variety of snacks.

Madri and Cristina, two beautiful souls, arrived as a surprise and quickly became part of the family.

These two lovely ladies placed their complete trust in our cooking workshop without knowing much about us, and cooking for them was an absolute delight. Their refined taste buds could truly appreciate the perfection of flavors. Together, we created and enjoyed dishes like Daal Makhni, Butter Chicken, Naan, and Palak Paneer. It was a memorable experience that will shine brightly in our hearts for years to come.

Carla booked the class, but it was Carlos who mastered all the dishes. Together, they learned to prepare Smoked Mixed Vegetables, Biryani, and Paneer Paratha. They also enjoyed Pakoras and Chicken Tikka during the session. Knowing Carla's love for chocolates, I wrapped homemade Gulab Jamuns in dark chocolate as a special treat. The entire cooking session was a truly spiritual and therapeutic experience.

Sofia and Antoni, a couple of passionate cooks and kitchen experts.

Duane and Chan, this wonderful brother duo, brought an exceptional energy to the kitchen that surpassed all our experiences.

Duane, a well-known chef from Hudson, spent the entire day with us, and I divided his class into two parts to make the most of the experience. It was a day full of learning and excitement. He mastered dishes like Chole Bhature, Korma, Biryani, Mixed Veg, Potatoes, and Pakoras. Duane gave us a high rating and even returned the next day to cook for us. It was truly an honor to have him in our kitchen.

Malika

Hello, I'm Malka, but I also love being called Malika.

Cooking has been my passion since childhood, nurtured by the guidance and inspiration of my mother, a true culinary enthusiast. Over the years, I've honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for creating dishes that tell stories—stories of love, culture, and tradition.

I am fortunate to share this journey with my husband, who not only shares my love for food but also supports me in every step of preparing meals with care and patience. Together, we believe that the secret ingredient in every dish is the love and joy we pour into it, and that’s what makes the experience truly special.

For the past five years, we have been hosting cooking workshops in the vibrant heart of New Delhi. These sessions are more than just cooking classes; they’re immersive experiences where our guests discover the essence of Indian culture, history, and traditions. Guests often tell us that they leave not only with new culinary skills but also with lasting memories of warm conversations and connections.

We take pride in curating each class with our guests in mind. Before every session, we have meaningful discussions about the menu to ensure it aligns with their preferences. Beyond cooking, we offer insights into Delhi’s hidden gems, drawing from my 15 years of experience in the travel industry. My husband, a history enthusiast, adds depth to the experience with fascinating stories and engaging company.

As an interfaith couple raising our six-year-old daughter in a home filled with love and respect, we represent the beautiful diversity of India. We welcome guests into our home not just as participants but as part of our extended family.

If given the opportunity to host you, we promise to go above and beyond to make your visit unforgettable. From sharing authentic recipes to exploring the history and culture behind each dish, our goal is to offer you a true taste of India in every sense.
