Magewappa is a traditional Japanese obento box that can preserve rice deliciously.
First, I will teach you how to cook delicious rice. It's okay if you don't have a rice cooker at home! l will cook delicious rice in a pot.
For the main dish, you can choose chicken, pork, or fish and cook it together. If you are participating in a group, I ask that everyone choose the same main dish. Speaking of obento, tamagoyaki, rolled egg is a most popular and classic side dish. I will teach you how to make tamagoyaki easily using a square frying pan. Give it a try!
We will also make popular side dishes to decorate your obento.

Hi, My name is Eri.
I have two boys, age 16 and 7.
I cook almost every morning and evening for my family. I also make lunch box, Obento for kids for over 10 years. We also have had hosting a home stay from US and l made him Obento for lunch. He loved his Obento and l wanted others to know how good Japanese Obento is. That why I decided to open the class.
I’ve stayed in Sydney and Boston when I was a student and learned their cultures and also revised our Japanese cultures.
l love traveling all over the world and visited more than 20 countries. I always thought how wonderful if I could learn about their cooking each countries.
My hometown is Gifu where is famous Shirakawago as a world heritage. l’ve been living Sapporo for 18 years.
I also teach about Japanese culture, such as tea ceremony, kimono and Kintsugi. Of course, recommended sightseeing spots and nice restaurants in Sapporo are also available.
