・Chakin Sushi
A thin crepe made of egg and wrapped in sushi rice with ingredients such as conger eel, salmon, and nori. It is both delicious and beautiful.
・Sakuraba Temari Sushi
Have a sushi chef make your nigirizushi for you. My suggestion is this Temari-zushi wrapped in plastic wrap. You can make salmon and sea bream sushi without fail.
・Asari no Ushio-jiru (Asari clam Ushio-jiru)
Spring is the season for delicious shellfish. I make a delicious soup using scallions from the Tokyo area.
Enjoy the fun and taste of WASHOKU with us
GON'S KITCHEN awaits you with a wonderful menu based on traditional Japanese recipes, arranged so that you can recreate them at home.
Please take a look at the menus we have prepared.
In all our classes, we aim to make the most of seasonal ingredients and enrich your body and mind with their energetic qualities.
Furthermore, we are concerned with the fact that our dishes are not limited to the moment, but can be recreated at home.
Take NIGIRIZUSHI, for example. In fact, NIGIRIZUSHI is not made at home in Japan. NIGIRIZUSHI is only made when it is hand-rolled by a professional craftsman. We propose sushi that is not made by hand but wrapped. It can be recreated in a family or at a home party with friends.
Classes are small groups of up to 6 people. We aim to be hands-on, where everyone gets to touch the ingredients, not just demonstrate.
We also challenge you to try another fascinating aspect of Japanese cuisine, the serving style. In this class, the ingredients are arranged like a landscape on a beautiful bowls and plates created by an artist.
The finale was a tasting session where participants enjoyed chatting with each other over the dishes they had prepared. Ask questions to the instructor or enjoy conversation with other participants, and let's have a wonderful time.
Kazuhiro
I am your host, Gon. I have been fascinated by traditional Japanese food using seasonal ingredients. I have not only eaten it, but also learned how to cook it for 25 years. I started my own kitchen, GON'S KITCHEN, to share the skills I have acquired with not only Japanese but also foreign guests. We are waiting for you in the light-filled penthouse of a condominium near the Shinjuku Gyoen with seasonal ingredients.
