・Horoshima Style Okonomiyaki (English Translator accompanied)
Even the simple word Okonomiyaki, we have many kinds of those.
Hiroshima style's okonomiyaki is known as a healthy food which uses a huge amount of cabage when cooking it. Taste isself is totally different to the one from Osaka. Would you like cook Hiroshima's okonomiyaki in my cooking class? :)
In this cooking class, I provide an experience of cooking Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.
We use cabbage, crispy bacon, flour, pepper etc.. Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is a kind of steamed food.
・Schedule
1. Meet up with your guide(11am)
2. you will pick up food materials with that guide in the supermarket. (11 :10 am - 11:30 am)
3. After arriving at the class room, you will learn a history of Okonomiyaki.
(11:40 am to 11:50 am)
4. We cook this meal from the first to end.
First, you make a base of okonomiyaki with flour, and put cabbage. After that, we will fried Soba or Udon while steaming the base.
Finally, it wil be complited by mix of those.

5. Eating and talking!!!

My name is Ako, I grew up in Hiroshima.
In this opportunity, I registered here to spread the wild but sensitive flavors of meals to tourists through a cooking class while also using local specialties.
I would like to bring one of a great memory in Japan for you.

My cooking career started in 1997, I first opened a BBQ restaurant in Kitakyushu. After running the restaurant in there, I come back my hometown, Hiroshima, and opened a new bigger-scale BBQ restaurant.
After a while, I changed my career to teach Traditional Korean x Japanese essence cooking which meals were loved by locals.
My cooking seasoning was loved by students and restaurant customers.
Also, honorably, I was picked up by one of the best Korean home meal chefs in Hiroshima in Energia's Cooking Magazine.
I not only studied Korean food but also studied Japanese food in a short-term school in Shinjuku and had been cooking Japanese homemade meals for my kids for over 18 years.
