Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, we’ll make Japanese curry rice together—one of the most loved home-cooked dishes in Japan!
It’s different from Indian or Thai curry—Japanese curry is mild, thick, and slightly sweet. Many Japanese people grew up eating it at school or at home, so it’s a nostalgic comfort food for us.

We’ll start by cutting fresh vegetables like onions, carrots, and potatoes.
Then we’ll add tender meat (chicken or pork) and simmer everything with Japanese curry roux, a flavorful blend of spices.
Finally, we’ll serve it over steamed white rice—simple and delicious!

You’ll learn how to make this dish just like it’s made in Japanese homes.
Even if you don’t like spicy food, you’ll love the rich and gentle taste of Japanese curry. Let’s enjoy this warm, hearty meal together!
