There are many kinds of miso in Japan, but I use Hatcho Miso, a rich dark-brown miso made near my home.

Let's make an azuki red bean jelly! We'll use the mold of your choice to press into the Mizuyokan. Must be an easy and cute dessert.
Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Your friendly host Yuko will guide you step by step, showing how to decorate your bento with colorful, fresh ingredients. Meanwhile, Michiko, a professional kimono stylist, will dress you elegantly so you can fully enjoy this unique cultural experience.
