Let's make beautiful and easy decorative sushi rolls together. While there are many types of Japanese sushi, this one is made using a bamboo mat. Miso soup and matcha dessert will be served alongside. Please let us know if you have any vegan preferences.

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

This cooking class offers a chance to experience Japanese cuisine in a beautiful, historic Japanese building (the former Yoda Residence). Not only will you tour the old Japanese mansion, but you'll also make beautiful rolled sushi together in a tatami room. Miso soup and matcha dessert will be served after the cooking experience

We’ll be doing it at the Historic Yoda House in Matsuzaki,The former Yoda Residence is a building designated as a cultural property of Shizuoka Prefecture, including the main house which was built in the mid-Edo period, 300 years ago.
