Let's cook bento with a local mom in Fukuoka!
Let's cook iconic Japanese dishes like tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) and onigiri (rice balls) that you always see in anime! On sunny days, we can even take them to a nearby park with a beautiful ocean view and enjoy them there.
If it rains, let's play with some Japanese toys at home! We have Kendama(traditional cup-and-ball game), card games, and a Nintendo Switch ready for you.
In this class, we make bento lunchbox.
◆Tamagoyaki
A Japanese-style omelet made by rolling together thin layers of fried egg. It has a slightly sweet and savory flavor.
◆Teriyaki chicken
Juicy pan-fried chicken glazed with a sweet and savory soy sauce blend (Teriyaki sauce).
※Vegetarian options are available: Teriyaki chicken can be replaced with fish or tofu.
◆Onigiri (Rice balls)
Steamed rice shaped into triangles or balls, often wrapped in nori (seaweed) and filled with savory ingredients.
◆Seasonal Japanese pickles (such as cucumber or Napa cabbage)
Traditional Japanese pickles made from fresh seasonal vegetables like cucumber or Napa cabbage. They are crunchy and refreshing.
"These are all classic ingredients for a traditional Japanese bento box!
