You will experience the whole process: making the savory batter, putting in fresh octopus and various toppings (like red ginger and green onions), and flipping them into perfect spheres with a special pick. It is super fun and feels like a small Japanese home party!
You can enjoy them fresh and hot, customized with sweet savory sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, and dancing bonito flakes.
Takoyaki is very cute, small battered balls containing octopus. When you visit Osaka, you can see Takoyaki shops and people wandering the streets while eating it.
Welcome to my Takoyaki cooking class in Fukuoka! In this lesson, we will make popular Japanese street food "Takoyaki" (Japanese Octopus Balls) from scratch!
We will use a cute red BRUNO compact hot plate to make them. You will experience the whole fun process: mixing the savory batter, putting in fresh octopus with various toppings (like red ginger and green onions), and flipping them into perfect spheres with a special pick. It feels just like a fun Japanese home party! Finally, enjoy them fresh and hot with savory sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, and dancing bonito flakes.
Our class is located near Uminonakamichi Seaside Park and Marine World Uminonakamichi, so you can easily visit them before or after the lesson! Also, it takes only 15 minutes by ferry from Bayside Place Hakata to Saitozaki station. It is a perfect day trip in Fukuoka!
