Our family runs a local izakaya specializing in chicken dishes and charcoal grilling. In this experience, you will prepare chicken skewers and enjoy grilling them over charcoal.
After grilling, enjoy the freshly cooked skewers together with dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelet) and keihan, a traditional Kagoshima chicken rice dish served with hot broth.
You can also enjoy Kagoshima shochu or a soft drink while learning about local food and izakaya culture.
This is not just a cooking class. We want you to experience the casual and friendly atmosphere of a real local izakaya and enjoy Kagoshima like a local.
