★Miso Soup★
We drink miso soup every morning at our house. It's a soup made with seasonal vegetables. When everyone in the family drinks miso soup, there's a comforting sense of peace. The miso we use is homemade, made by me. Let's make delicious miso soup together!
★Rice Balls★
Rice balls made with red salmon, and rice balls with bonito flakes.
In this class, we will make miso soup and rice balls together. For the miso soup, we will use a simple dashi pack to make the broth. We will cut seasonal vegetables together, and I will teach you how to add miso and the different types of Japanese miso. For the rice balls, I will teach you how to adjust the amount of salt and what kind of seasonings go well with salmon and bonito flakes as fillings. Rice balls and miso soup are absolutely delicious.
Yuko
My name is Yuko Taki. I have finished raising my four children and now live with my husband. I love cooking and vegetables, and we grow fresh vegetables in the field in front of our house. I teach how to easily make Japanese home cooking and bento box meals using seasonal vegetables. Using Japanese fermented seasonings such as miso and soy sauce is good for your body and makes your gut healthier. I would like to share my cooking with you so that you can become healthy in both mind and body. I look forward to meeting you all.
