Sweet & Fluffy! Make Traditional Japanese Anpan in a Local Home
[Authentic Japanese Red Bean Paste Bread (Anpan) Experience in Osaka!]
Learn how to make Japan’s most iconic and beloved traditional bread, “Anpan” (Sweet Red Bean Paste Bread), at a warm and welcoming home baking class in Osaka!
[About This Lesson]
Anpan is a unique Japanese creation that combines soft, fluffy bread with sweet, rich red bean paste (anko)—a traditional ingredient loved in Japan for generations. In this hands-on lesson, you will experience the whole process from scratch—measuring ingredients, using an authentic Japanese dough kneader machine, artfully wrapping the sweet bean filling inside, and baking them to golden perfection!
We will use sweet red bean paste that is widely available in local Japanese supermarkets. If you love the taste, I’ll gladly show you where and how to buy it so you can make it at home or take it back as a souvenir!
I don't speak fluent English, but please don't worry at all! I use simple words, body language, and translation apps to guide you carefully so we can enjoy a wonderful baking time together.

Beginners are very welcome! Let’s share our passion for bread and create wonderful, delicious memories in Osaka together❤️
This is my 19th year running my bread-making school, and I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming over 2,000 students so far! Many students come from abroad wanting to learn how to make Japanese bread. I also train aspiring instructors who want to open their own bread-making classes.
While I don’t speak English, I absolutely love traveling abroad! I’ve visited France, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hawaii, Guam, and Saipan. Trying different breads from around the world is always one of my favorite parts of traveling!
I’m naturally curious and love chatting with people from all over the world. Since I host my classes in my own home, you’ll also get a real taste of authentic Japanese daily life. Even if you're completely new to bread-making, please rest assured and feel right at home.
Let's enjoy making Japanese bread together❤️
