    Green Tea

The astringent constituent in Japanese tea is a type of polyphenol called catechin. Japan has done a great deal with the humble tea leaf. For example some benefits of the catechin in the tea leaf can lower cholesterol in some cases. Roasted over charcoal at a high temperature and grown under shade for at least 20 days are one of the examples. The most popular Japanese tea might be ryokucha. Depending on the timing of picking the leaves, the grade, the price can be noticeably different.

About Host

This is my 19th year running my bread-making school, and I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming over 2,000 students so far! Many students come from abroad wanting to learn how to make Japanese bread. I also train aspiring instructors who want to open their own bread-making classes.

While I don’t speak English, I absolutely love traveling abroad! I’ve visited France, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hawaii, Guam, and Saipan. Trying different breads from around the world is always one of my favorite parts of traveling!

I’m naturally curious and love chatting with people from all over the world. Since I host my classes in my own home, you’ll also get a real taste of authentic Japanese daily life. Even if you're completely new to bread-making, please rest assured and feel right at home.

Let's enjoy making Japanese bread together❤️
