    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. Soup is made from dashi (Japanese stock) and Miso paste. Common ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but different from personal preference. Using the type of miso is different from region. In western Japan, white miso is mostly used. in east region, White miso is often used.

I work as am a Japanese cuisine teacher in Osaka.Osaka is also known as a gastronomic city from the Edo period(1600s).
