Onigiri
Tamagoyaki
Onigiri... two types of rice balls
Tamagoyaki... Japanese rolled omelette
If you like Japanese anime, you’ve probably seen this traditional lunch at least once.
You can experience making a lunch box in a small apartment designed for single living in Japan.
You can eat the lunch box you made right there, but it’s recommended to enjoy it at a tourist spot or park. It will be an experience that lets you savor the essence of Japan.

★★★★★i thoroughly enjoyed my time with asami. she is still learning english but her english level with occasional help with a translation app allowed us to converse fairly well. it was a simple, authentic experience that i would do again the next time i’m in osaka. as a bonus, her adorable daughter will give you praise for your cooking in the cutest ways. thank you asami!

★★★★★Cooking with Asami was the highlight of my Japan trip. I went with a group of Australian young boys to Japan and we all got really hung over the morning of the cooking class. After Asami's class, we were all softened up and really well fed. The cooking itself was educational, authentic and each element was explained very well. The food was something we could say "the locals ate" and was refreshing from everyday restaurant and street food, I felt it was a very unique food experience as we understood the process and the host explained each part of the dish to us. The host was super understanding and did her best to make us feel comfortable in her home. We shared stories and she gave us insight into Japan living in her quite fluent English! If I were to ever visit Japan again, I would definitely find my way to Asami's kitchen again, such a rememberable and warm experience!
