-"Dashi", Japanese-style broth and "osumashi", clear soup, to enjoy the scents of fresh "dashi".
-Fried Tofu, so called "atsuage" in Japan. Enjoy tofu with rich but light taste.
-"Nukazuke" which is the most typical "tsukemono", a kind of Japanese pickles.

    Tsukemono

    Japanese preserved vegetables, usually pickled in a salt, brine or a bed of rice bran. They are often served to satisfy the balance with other dishes in sensory, authentic and nutritious consideration. Tsukemono are raw vegetables and think of them as a type of salad with the added benefits of lactic-acid fermentation.

Cooking Class Information

You can learn how to cook dashi using appropriate ingredients to you. And you can experience making "nukazuke", typical Japanese pickles, by stiring "nukadoko" which is fermented and brined rice bran and soaking seasonal vegetables in it.
During this class, we would also show you how to make additional healthy dishes using "dashi" to able to enjoy as a course of home made Japanese obanzai for your meals.

Great experience. Meeting Noriko and her husband. Seeing her cooking and discussing Japanese food and culture. I was hoping to cook a little more hence the 4 star but the hosting was amazing and I was soooooo full at the end. Plus they offered Sake and their own home made food
