In this class, we can enjoy making and eating a typical pot dish on the table “Shabushabu pork”.
Tofu salad includes some tofu, marine plants and fresh vegetables. Flavored Rice is white boiled rice flavored with red perilla herb, Japanese plums and salted green soybeans. You can experience a great rice cooker which we Japanese use everyday at home.
After enjoying the pot dish on the table, we can make miso soup from the pork soup in the pot.
These dishes are all easy to make and my family’s most favorite menu. You would really enjoy some of Japanese Mom’s dishes.
Hello, my name is Akemi. I'm a woman aged 60.
I live in Tokyo and have another condominium on the beachside of Kamakura city where I offer the program. There you might enjoy the attractive scenery with Mt.Fuji and the ocean.
I have 2 sons, one daughter and one grandson. I was a graphic designer for food packaging but now I'm an artist of acrylic abstract paintings. I’ve guided over 70 groups as a volunteer guide of Tokyo. It’s a lot of fun for me.
