  • Ramen


    Ramen is a noodle soup dish and perhaps one of the most popular Japanese dishes. There are many flavours of ramen, such as Shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, Miso ramen, Tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen and so on. Common toppings are Chashu (braised pork), Negi (green onion) and Nori (dried seaweed).

    Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, we make healthy Hakata soy sauce ramen. Hakata is a famous city for ramen. Hakata ramen is roughly classified into pork bone ramen and soy sauce ramen. Here, we make soy sauce ramen that is popular among women. The most important soup is taken with soup stock, especially bonito. Use the highest quality bonito among bonito. This is a bonito mushroom ripened with mold and requires a long production time.
〇To make a rich soup, add 3 pieces of pork to make a soup. There is little smell of fish and can give a mellow taste.
〇 After boiling for about 2 minutes, cut three pieces of pork into a width of about 5 cm. Then add soy sauce and salt to taste.
〇 Bring hot water to a separate pot, put half-raw ramen noodles, and boil for 2 minutes. Discard the hot water of the boiled ramen, put it in a bowl and pour hot soup.
〇 Place your favorite topping on top of the bowl of noodles. In the classroom, put soft-boiled eggs, corn, menma, leek, pork, sesame seeds, seaweed, red ginger and sprouts. Healthy soy sauce ramen made from soup is completed in about 30 to 40 minutes.
