In this experience, you will enjoy making traditional Japanese sweets called shiratama-dango using glutinous rice flour. You will make dango from dough and boil them! Three kinds of topping for shiratama-dango will be prepared.
And you will also make stuffing dumplings which is amazing in matcha syrup.
Since shiratama-dango is made from rice flour, it could be a light meal as well. (Actually, you can put shiratama-dango into your miso soup!) So let's taste them with miso soup and Japanese rolled omelet.
You will learn how to make simple Japanese soup stock which is known as DASHI to make wonderful miso soup.
Japanese rolled omelet is one of the most popular and favorite Japanese mom's cooking!

Hello everyone, I'm Sayoko.
Welcome to Japan!
I am really a foodie person whom love to cook, dine, and spend good time with people over food and conversation.
I've lived abroad for three years when I was a high school student, and have traveled many countries. I always love to try each country's food specialities. I'd love to know about the world so please tell me yours!
I live with my wonderful family, a husband and two daughters. My town is just 20 min. from Shibuya by using an express train, and it's a quite big town. There are many shops, fine restaurants, local supermarkets, parks, and so you'll never waste your time in my town.
Let's enjoy cooking together.

★★★★★Sayoko san is the BEST!!! She prepared everything nicely & very precise with her recipe. I also brought my daughter for half the price and she was very good with kids. Her cooking skill is excellent & she communicates very well with her English. I would very much recommend this class for those who wants to experience a nice quiet Japanese Home with home cooking. Sayokosan... Ganbate!!!
