Teriyaki chicken is a dish that is baked with chicken and tangled in a sweet teriyaki sauce of soy sauce and mirin, and is easy to eat even for those who are not familiar with Japanese food. Pork soup is miso soup with konjac and pork in vegetables such as radish, carrots and onions. The sweetness of vegetables and the deliciousness of pork are also delicious! And rice balls are made with rice cooked in the traditional “Kamado” from the Nonomura family. Now it is an experience that cannot be seen even in Japanese homes.

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, rice is cooked together in the “Kamado”. The fire is burned in the traditional way. Rice cooked in the furnace is delicious! Hold rice balls with the rice. If it is difficult to hold a rice ball with your hand, it is easy because there is a mold. Teriyaki chicken is grilled chicken and teriyaki sauce. Eggs are baked in a special square frying pan, but a little trick is needed. Please get the tips together!
