Anpan & Cream Bread
(Bread with bean paste and mochi, Bread with custard)
In this cooking class, we make bean paste (anko) bread and cream bread. Japanese bread is characterized by fluffy dough. Anko is made from boiled sweet soybeans.
Anko Bread and cream bread are very popular Japan. The bread becomes even more delicious when you add the mochi (rice cakes) into it. In this class, we knead and mold the dough, and bake the anpan & cream Bread.
Nice to meet you. My name is Naho Kondo. A family of five with children aged 7, 5 and 1 years old. I love baking bread, and I hold a pan class at home. Bread is eaten all over the world, but Japanese bread is fluffy and you can enjoy a different taste. A toast bread like a stuffed animal or a mysterious bread that comes out when you cut it will surely entertain you. I hope I can convey Japanese “cute” culture through bread making.
For women only. (Children under 15 can also experience men)
My house is a 7-minute walk from Nagoya University Station. If you wish, we will pick you up at the station. There is also the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Garden, a 5-minute drive from the house. There are about 500 kinds of animals in this zoo, and you can meet the most kinds of animals in Japan. It's very fun, so it's recommended when sightseeing in Japan.
