Udon is a famous Japanese noodle food. Add salt water to all purpose flour, knead, cut into noodles and boil. The Udon making experience will surely excite you!

・Vegetable tempura

It is also called Kakiage. Fry several vegetables in a tempura batter. The compatibility with udon is the best.

・Vegan Udon soup

We make Vegan Udon soup using Kombu kelp and Shiitake mushrooms.

  • Tempura


    Tempura (天ぷら) is a classical Portuguese dish brought to and popularized by Japan, consisting of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried. Tempura is a typical home-style cooking in Japan. It is often referred to as a representative dish to Japan. Although there are various theories, it is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu, the general of the Edo period, liked tempura so much that he allegedly died from eating too much.

  • Udon


    Udon (うどん) is a type of thick wheat flour noodle. It is similar to Italian pasta, but much thicker. It has been eaten all over Japan as an easy-to-eat popular meal, and a substitute meal for rice dishes. Udon is often served hot as a noodle soup in its simplest form, as "kake udon", in a mildly flavoured broth called kakejiru, which is made of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. The flavor of broth and topping vary from region to region.

In this cooking class, you make udon from flour together. You can knead the udon dough with your feet and cut. You can also learn how to make Tempura and Japanese traditional soup stocks.

Hello everyone. I'm Kayo. The mother of three kids. I enjoy making meals and lunch boxes for them everyday. I try to make Japanese cuisine for their health and growth. I love making and eating Japanese cuisine(Washoku) and sweet(Wagashi). I experienced living abroad in 2018, and I learned about different food styles such as vegan, vegetarian and halal. I was surprised that the food diversity is very natural overseas. After returning to Japan, I received a lecture from BentoYa Cooking (Japanese cooking association for vegan and vegetarian), and certified as an instructor. I want to pass on Japanese cuisine that can accommodate the food diversity. My cooking class is held at home. Children are also welcome. there's a Japanese-style room, so if you wish, you can dine in Japanese style. Let's enjoy cooking together:)
