・Okinawan soba noodle
Okinawan soba noodles is the original food in Okinawa, made without buckwheat flour.
For broth, we use chicken, pork, carrot, onion, dried bonito shavings, and kelp.
And we put pork, Aosa sea lettuce, Kamaboko (boiled fish paste) on it.
・Jushi
Jushi is Okinawan mixed rice with pork(or chicken), Shiitake mushroom, carrot and broth made from pork and dried bonito shavings.
We usually eat it with Okinawan soba noodles.
We can cook Okinawan soba noodles and Jushi.
These are great combo!
We'll start by cutting ingredients for Jushi.
While it's cooking, we start to make Okinawan soba noodles.
Step1. Mix flour and special water to make its dough.
Step2. Roll the dough into a ball and let it rest for an hour.(We can make Okinawan sweets while waiting.)
Step3. Flatten it with a rolling pin and cut the dough rhythmically.
Step4. Boil it.
Step5. Dish up and eat the noodles before they get soggy!!
And also you can enjoy harvesting for some ingredients in our own vegetable field!
We can teach you how to cook Okinawa traditional foods, Okinawan soba noodles, Okinawan homemade foods and Okinawan sweets.
Please enjoy with us!
