udon&tenpura
☆ Udon is one of the best noodle foods in Japan where a small amount of salt water is added to wheat flour and kneaded. You can boil it in boiling water (tsukemono), or you can eat it with katsuo soup and kake-noodle flavored with soy sauce. Iki udon from Kagawa Prefecture is famous nationwide.
☆ Tempura is a Japanese dish in which ingredients such as seafood and vegetables are wrapped in a flour-based garment, fried and cooked in oil. It is one of the "Edo Sanmi" and is a local cuisine of Edo (Tokyo). Nowadays, tempura is spread both inside and outside Japan.
In this class, we make udon and tempura together.
We can make udon with the food processor, then stretch it out and cut it.
And, fry the tempura .
