Cooking Class Information

Inari sushi, which is very familiar in Japan.

Sukeroku sushi is very familiar to Japanese people. Sukeroku sushi refers to inari sushi and maki sushi.
Inari sushi is made by putting vinegared rice into sweetly boiled fried tofu. Maki sushi is made by wrapping dried gourd, eggs, cucumbers, etc. around the sushi.

The history of Sukeroku sushi dates back to the Edo period. Nigiri sushi made with raw Edomae fish was deemed extravagant and banned, so Sukeroku sushi was born to replace nigiri sushi. It is a casual taste that the common people can enjoy.

Why not try making Sukeroku sushi? On a nice day, go to a nearby beach and enjoy a Sukeroku sushi bento while looking at Mt. Fuji.

Nice to meet you, I'm Sanae.
I live in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture. Numazu is a very nice place. It's a relaxing place where you can see Mt. Fuji up close, the ocean, and the mountains. You can get there in just over an hour by taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo. My home is 2km from Numazu Station. I'll pick you up at the station. Numazu is next to Mishima Station on the Shinkansen.

Lessons are held in small groups. Even one person is OK. Would you like to make it together?

After the lesson, if you wish, we will take you to Numazu fishing port while looking at Mt. Fuji from Senbonhama.

I am looking forward to seeing you!!
