You can select 2 of 3 dishes below for our program(due to time limit).
1. Bibimbap
[Rice Mixed with Vegetables and Beef]
Bibimbap is a dish made up of various seasoned vegetables and meat and eaten after mixing all of the ingredients with gochu-jang (red chili pepper paste). For better taste, use various in-season vegetables and add sesame oil. Because it contains various types of vegetables, one bowl of bibimbap can be a nutritionally balanced meal.
2. Gimbap
[Toasted Laver Rolls]
Gimbap is easily made by seasoning cooked white rice with salt and sesame oil, spreading it over lightly oasted laver, adding various vegetables and beef and rolling and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
Because gimbap is easy to eat anywhere, it is a convenient dish for a simple lunch or as a lunchbox menu for outings or travels. In Korea, it is a signature menu item that mothers put in lunchboxes on outing days.
3. Kimchi jjigae
[Pork Chunks Round Off the Taste]
One of the most beloved lunch menu for Korean office workers is kimchi-jjigae. It is a safe choice at any restaurant, never disappoints, and is always served in generous portions. The same is true at home. All you need is sour, fully-ripe kimchi and water. Pork and anchovies are the two most favorite ingredients added to enhance the flavor of kimchi-jjigae.
