「鳳梨」（パイナップル）は台湾語で「めでたいことがたくさん来る」という意味の「旺来」と呼ばれています。台湾産のパイナップルをたっぷり使った「鳳梨酥」（パイナップルケーキ）は、台湾では手みやげとして大人気。鳳梨酥を贈ることで、贈られる方の幸せを願うとされています。一方、台湾ではお茶請けの代表格と言われる蔥香牛軋餅は、手みやげとしても大人気のお菓子です。
CookInn Taiwanの「幸せ台湾菓子クラス」では鳳梨酥とネギ風味のヌガークラッカーをつくり、自分へのごほうびやお友達へのプレゼントにしていただくことで、一年の幸福と開運を願います。持ち帰り用にオリジナルの箱もおつけしますので、幸せを大切な方々と分かち合ってください。
講座の後半は伝統的な台湾茶芸のデモンストレーションを行います。世界的に有名な台湾烏龍茶は、気候風土の特性から特有の爽やかな香りと甘みが生まれると言われています。CookInnのシェフによるデモンストレーションで台湾高山茶を存分に味わっていただけるだけでなく、台湾のお菓子とのマリアージュを堪能していただくことで、台湾での忘れ得ぬ思い出を演出いたします。
