Ivana
Hi dear friends! My name is Ivana and I'm Croatian journalist, head of cooking classes for eight years, food and travel columnist, historian and a screenwriter. I was born in Zagreb 1978. Eighteen years ago I discovered the charms of Trogir - UNESCO protected town on the coast in southern Croatian region Dalmatia. In 2012 I published my first coolinary travelogue in Croatian under the title «Putopisna kuharica globalne prozdrljivice» (A Culinary Travelouge By A Global Greedy-Guts). I enjoy travelling and discovering new tastes, savours, cultures and customs as much as I enjoy sharing them afterwards. I discovered my love towards cooking at the same time when I discovered my inclination towards journalism, and since then travelling, cooking and writing are inextricably linked. The most pleasant feelings I felt during my wanderings and tasting of Dalmatian meals are now noted in my second culinary travelouge «My Dalmatia, tastes, savours, colors». I'm one of the authors of the film about Croatian Mediterranean diet «Cuvarice okusa» (Taste keepers). I promote traditional way of cooking and authentic recipes. I also work like personal chef and I have live one - day on line cooking classes.
