During this cooking experience, guests will learn how to prepare a selection of traditional Italian homemade dishes, made from scratch using organic ingredients and time-honored techniques from central Italy.
We will begin with fresh handmade pasta, learning how to prepare and knead the dough, roll it by hand, and shape it into tagliatelle. The pasta will be served with a slow-cooked meat ragù, prepared following a traditional Tuscan method, or a vegetarian seasonal sauce. A gluten-free option is also available upon request.
Guests will also learn how to make homemade ravioli, filled with Pienza ricotta cheese, pine nuts, and a touch of organic honey, creating a delicate balance between savory and slightly sweet flavors. Alternative fillings can be prepared on request, depending on dietary preferences or seasonal ingredients.
The class continues with another iconic Italian comfort food: homemade gnocchi (soft potato dumplings). As an alternative, guests may prepare Tuscan gnudi (ricotta-based dumplings traditionally served without pasta) or Scialatielli, a rustic fresh pasta shape from Naples.
To finish, we will prepare a classic Italian dessert, choosing between traditional tiramisù, an eggless tiramisù, or a cheesecake, all made with simple, high-quality ingredients.
This experience is designed to be hands-on, relaxed, and immersive, offering guests a true taste of Italian home cooking and the pleasure of cooking slowly, together.
